    Task
    Wärtsilä Corporation is the global leader in diesel and gas engine power generation and marine propulsion systems. After merging two other engineering companies from Italy and Switzerland into the corporation, they wanted a strong unified brand. And everything had to be in place within five months of the first brief.

     

    Only total commitment, from top decision-makers to front-line specialists, and smooth co-operation with the agency could make it happen. It did - all in 90 days.

     

    Solution
    In addition to planning the new strategy, a new identity was born. The new brandmark combined the elements of the sea and energy together in a dynamic 'new wave of power'.

     

    Implementation on the new identity included all literature and guidelines; global trademark registrations; a rapid-implementation package for 120 offices; websites; advertising campaigns across the international business press; posters; direct marketing; an international launch event; seven multimedia programmes; presentation packages; a video trailer; call centre waiting tunes; internal marketing campaigns;
    co-ordinated signage in 47 countries; corporate gifts; new brand identity employee information and more.
